In Dr. Schlueter’s Managerial Design Thinking, the business planning team uses engineering-type formulae derived from economic and other theories to accomplish breakthrough product innovations. Innovation cannot be left to chance anymore. Corporations must have substantial portfolios of promising new product ideas in their pipeline.
